In October 2009, the Mile High Community Band was honored to receive a generous "general operating support" grant from The Denver Foundation . That grant was accompanied by a letter recognizing the extraordinary volunteer efforts that support our organization, and the uniquely affordable and multi-generational music education opportunities MHCBmakes available to the greater Denver community. We are delighted to receive this kind of recognition from The Denver Foundation. Our sincere thanks go to the Foundation's Board of Trustees for this energizing boost to our Band's ongoing programming and community-outreach efforts.
